We used this campground as a stop over on a cross country drive. Very quiet at night. Bathrooms and showers were decent.
This is a decent lake/campground, especially for Nebraska... Who knew? There are plenty of camping locations including a lot of beachfront primitive camping. My recommendation is to get a site near the real bathrooms because the vaulted toilets are pretty old and narsty. I also would watch your children perty closely because they seem to let boats and jet skis get pretty close to the shore.
Water level at ramp is low, but the infrastructure here is great! Butte View Campground is kept clean. Nice fish cleaning station and lots of shade...great visit
Loved camping in one of the electric hook up spots. Would have liked to have a water hook up since our black and grey tanks hold more than our fresh water tank. Lighthouse is awesome to go to the top and look out on the lake. Be advised that the stairway is pretty small though.
This lake is amazing, beautiful water and beaches, plenty of nice camp spots and easy to get to. It's like a little beach paradise hidden in plain sight.
